Articles must be original, unpublished and written specifically for JoinHikes.com. We don’t accept copied, scraped, spun, rewritten, plagiarized or previously published content.
Written by a Real Person
Articles must be researched, written and reviewed by a human author. We don’t accept fully AI-generated articles, mass-produced content or articles created mainly with automated rewriting tools. If you used AI tools for research or editing, please tell us. We’ll only consider the article if it clearly shows your own knowledge, experience and work.
Real Value for Readers
Your article should give readers something useful: first-hand trail details, practical tips, honest comparisons, expert knowledge or careful research. Generic articles that repeat what’s already all over the internet will be rejected.
Accurate and Trustworthy
All facts, trail details, prices, rules and safety advice must be accurate and backed by reliable sources where needed. Fake experiences, made-up reviews, misleading claims and unverifiable information are not allowed.

9. Contributor Agreement
By sending content to JoinHikes.com, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to submit it.
- The article is original and hasn’t been published anywhere else.
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You’ve disclosed any business interests.
- You give JoinHikes.com permission to edit and publish the approved article.
- You won’t republish the accepted article elsewhere without our written permission.
